I have passionate partnered with NGOs since I was a teenager - first locally and then internationally. I am committed to helping make the world a better place. It's core to who I am, what I believe, and the legacy I want to leave. When it comes to NGO coverage, I began in 2010 to document these projects. I provide careful, considerate, compassionate coverage of issues, victories, realities, details, and story-rich images that help NGOs capture the public eye and encapsulate their mission and reason for existing. Additionally I am doing ongoing work to deconstruct my privilege, bias, stereotypes, and more which contribute to the 'colonial lens.' I aim to craft images that inspire NGOs audiences compassion and be moved to action, without forcing stereotypes or assumed stories onto those within the image. This is ongoing work which I am committed to doing.
